Our team has excelled in the rendering of services
to Mexico’s public sector in a vast variety of areas,
such as public finance, public-private partnerships,
infrastructure and public services. Our team has
been retained by local governments in order to
structure public bids and tendering processes across
Mexico, too.
On the other hand, PAG has actively advised private entities in their undertakings with
Mexico’s public entities, in their capacity of bidders, service providers, finance providers,
contractors, suppliers or sponsors, among other capacities, under PPP/PFI schemes, with
outstanding results.
The partners of PAG have been actively involved in PPP/PFI projects, since the genesis
(and tropicalisation) of such schemes, in Mexico. Further, our team has been involved in
related structures, starting from the traditional build, operate and transfer (BOT) through
more sophisticated schemes as BOO (build, own, operate) and BOLs.
Our comprehensive approach permits the Firm to render harmonic advice when it comes
to PPP projects, striving to co-ordinate, address, structure and meet all the finance, corporate,
tax, construction and public procurement implications, among others, which are
familiar to this kind of schemes.
In addition, the Firm has successfully structured (and achieved) a vast number of public finance
transactions, including the design and structuring of sophisticated financings such
as refinancing and restructuring arrangements and the design and placing of municipal
and public bonds, achieving remarkable terms and conditions to our clients.
